

Agriculture has been and always will be the main
enterprise at Heatham we encourage you to come and learn all you wish
about this wonderful industry.
A warm welcome and friendly atmosphere awaits you as you arrive relax
and unwind as a fresh pot of tea and a plate of homemade scones or cakes
will await you on arrival
Feel free to take a pleasant quiet evening or morning walk around Heatham
to listen to birds singing lambs bleating and not cars roaring as Heatham
has its own private drive.

Heatham is surrounded by 350 Acres of quality picturesque agriculture
land.
The well managed farm runs a 40 cow pedigree registered herd of British
Limousins which graze around the fields of the farm sharing the grazing
with 550 breeding ewes and their off springs.
This busy working farm through the summer months grows 85 acres of Barley Wheat, Oats and Maize, which is all, conserved to be fed to the animals through the winter months.

Young calves are reared on the farm during the summer months,
where guests are welcome to help feed them either in the morning or evening.
If you wish you can work up an appetite before breakfast by taking in
the Cornish fresh air and accompany Roland as he checks and feeds the
stock.
A walk around the farm will take you through
fields and lovely quiet woodlands into the National Trust Forest of Coombe
Valley and ultimately to the sandy beaches of Duckpool and Sandymouth.
Rugged cliff walks alomg the coastal paths will take you to Bude going
South or the famous Hawker Hut at Morwenstowe church if you wish to walk
north.
